For those of us who got the waitlist mailing thing removed, do you think they might be dinging us soon? Don't mean to get you all nervous but why would something like that happen?

That would be such a shit way to let us know...

Have people historically been removed from the WL this soon?

Also is there a possibility that those who had the marker removed went ASWL 5/1 and the ones who have not went ASWL 5/2?

My circumstances support this hypothesis

Hey all - I didn't want to speculate so I just called them. They told me that they will be resending me the confirmation email since I should have received it (she even asked me if it is stuck in my spam or trash folder). This leads me to believe that we all may have not received an email we should have....

Thank you for your response to New York University School of Law's wait list offer. We have updated your file to indicate your interest in remaining on the wait list and appreciate your ongoing interest in NYU Law.

I've been ACWL 5/1 and 5/2 and had the mailing removed. Currently ACWL 5/2.

Just make it brief. "Dear NYU, I'm currently on the waitlist and remain interested in being considered for admission. Please find my LOCI attached. Thank you, SFN"

How long were your LOCIs and did you use the letter formatting in them? For UPenn, I did something differently, but I also had a ton to write about from my visit. Unsure as to whether it was the right move, but I think for NYU and CLS I'll stick with what is normal.

Just introduced myself, and said what the document was and why I was submitting it. I also put my name and LSAC# in the title.

How long were your LOCIs and did you use the letter formatting in them?

I used a letter format and kept it to a page single spaced.
