I got dinged
I'm rather anxious and upset about it. Cornell wasn't exactly my first choice (I can barely deal with winter in NYC, let alone upstate NY) but it is one of the lower tier 1 schools, which leaves me worried about the outcomes of some of the higher ones.

And you just received a decision today/yesterday? If so and that's the turnaround most people are getting, I probably have at least a month left to wait thenchristinaxcarrie wrote:Sent October 2, complete on October 4.brinicolec wrote:When'd you apply?christinaxcarrie wrote:I got dingedI'm rather anxious and upset about it. Sadly I don't know, because I didn't really keep track of it. Everyone said Cornell didn't give decisions until late December, so I tried to be less OCD and only check the ones that I thought might actually change.brinicolec wrote:And you just received a decision today/yesterday? My numbers aren't updated.zeglo wrote:Assuming your profile numbers are accurate, you could have expected it. You should check LSN then, you'd be surprised.zeglo wrote:Assuming your profile numbers are accurate, you could have expected it. What did you guys do for your "Influenced to Apply" and "Interest in Cornell" Sections? Are they just equivalents of a "Why Cornell" essay? I found it sort of weird the "Influenced to Apply" section is mandatory. I wasn't influenced by any individual in particular.

For my interest in Cornell I talked about why I'd like to live in the area and my interest in a specific clinic/specific courses.Rubbishdump wrote:What did you guys do for your "Influenced to Apply" and "Interest in Cornell" Sections? And for the influenced to apply section, I just kinda noted that no one in particular influenced me to apply to Cornell specifically and left it at that.

How long was your influenced to apply section? I don't want to be at a disadvantage for just writing a sentence or two in the same vein.amberb94 wrote:For my interest in Cornell I talked about why I'd like to live in the area and my interest in a specific clinic/specific courses.Rubbishdump wrote:What did you guys do for your "Influenced to Apply" and "Interest in Cornell" Sections? A regular notebook would have been dope. Though I don't think I could justify using it since I didn't end up going lol.proteinshake wrote:It's just a viewbook thoughKeilz wrote:Nice has anyone gotten it yet?
