Mine changed for the first time yesterday to 2/4, and then this morning it's changed again to 2/5! Hopefully that means news soon for both of us!
Did you have a date listed before 2/4? If so, congratulations! Based on the representative sample from gastronomy, we will both be accepted. If this is not correct, we will both say "booooooo!"
I did, it was 1/14 (the day I actually went complete). Hoping you're correct!

I misread the letter thinking they would release in February but then I realized it said the scholarship committee convenes in Feb. Hopefully they tell us soon!

Ah, you're right! I just reread it again, haha. Hopefully it will be sometime soon, and not a belated notice in March.
I was also under the impression that scholarships were released in February. I also emailed admissions and was told February, so I am thinking they should be coming out in the next couple of weeks.

Changed to decision made and I see seat deposits under the fees. can people confirm that this definitely means a good sign?

The Admissions Committee has completed their review of your application. Your decision has been mailed to you. We DO NOT release decisions by telephone or email. If more than 2 weeks has passed and you have not received your decision letter, please contact the Admissions Office (LawAdmit@nd.edu or 574-631-6626) to confirm your mailing address.

Wow, ok then! Figured I'd be waiting a while for a letter based on that ^.

I think the statement on their status check page just means that they won't disclose decision details if applicants email them.

I also received an email from ND the next day, so don't sweat it! :)

So... about scholarships. Looks like applicants started getting letters this week last year. Too early to be hopeful? Visiting this Friday. Hoping they'll save themselves the postage but I know that's a bit far fetched.

I visited last week and they gave me my letter, so they should be coming out really soon. You will probably get yours on Friday too.

Is there anyway to increase our chances of getting a larger scholarship?

Probably not at this point. As soon as you receive your offer, you can try negotiating if you feel that you have leverage.

Has anyone else had their status date change around 1/28 and heard a decision yet? I've been sitting on 1/28 for almost two weeks now after the first status change.

Same for me. I'm betting that they send batches of their letters all at once and maybe our batch just hasn't left yet. If I don't hear by Friday I'll be calling on Monday
I was planning on doing the same.
Or maybe I'll call on Friday. Depends on how impatient I'm feeling come Friday haha
Finally called admissions and they just emailed me the letter - Waitlisted

My "application complete" date changed three times before I went to Decision Made. I think it's just their way of letting you know that your application is progressing/being read/etc. Best of luck!

Is not having a seat deposit fee show up for sure either a wait list or rejection?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
