Has anyone else had the complete status update change this many times?

I misread the letter thinking they would release in February but then I realized it said the scholarship committee convenes in Feb. Hopefully they tell us soon!gastronomy wrote:Soooo, any guesses as to when in February scholarships will be released? Is next week too optimistic?

I was also under the impression that scholarships were released in February. I also emailed admissions and was told February, so I am thinking they should be coming out in the next couple of weeks.gastronomy wrote:Ah, you're right! I just reread it again, haha. Hopefully it will be sometime soon, and not a belated notice in March.crystallize wrote:I misread the letter thinking they would release in February but then I realized it said the scholarship committee convenes in Feb. Same for me. I want to start celebrating, but I won't till I get that package in the mail. Why can't you just email us ND!!

The Admissions Committee has completed their review of your application. Your decision has been mailed to you. We DO NOT release decisions by telephone or email. If more than 2 weeks has passed and you have not received your decision letter, please contact the Admissions Office (LawAdmit@nd.edu or 574-631-6626) to confirm your mailing address.crystallize wrote:The email came the morning after for me.Bluex12 wrote:PSPSPSPS wrote:Yes.npt2901 wrote:Changed to decision made and I see seat deposits under the fees. can people confirm that this definitely means a good sign?

Great, good to know.gastronomy wrote:I think the statement on their status check page just means that they won't disclose decision details if applicants email them.Bluex12 wrote:The Admissions Committee has completed their review of your application. So... about scholarships. Looks like applicants started getting letters this week last year. Too early to be hopeful? Visiting this Friday. Hoping they'll save themselves the postage but I know that's a bit far fetched.

I visited last week and they gave me my letter, so they should be coming out really soon. You will probably get yours on Friday too.

Is there anyway to increase our chances of getting a larger scholarship?

Probably not at this point. As soon as you receive your offer, you can try negotiating if you feel that you have leverage.johnclaudio1010 wrote:Is there anyway to increase our chances of getting a larger scholarship?

Has anyone else had their status date change around 1/28 and heard a decision yet? I've been sitting on 1/28 for almost two weeks now after the first status change.

Or maybe I'll call on Friday. Depends on how impatient I'm feeling come Friday haha

My "application complete" date changed three times before I went to Decision Made. I think it's just their way of letting you know that your application is progressing/being read/etc. Best of luck!Danimals18 wrote:had my "application complete" change to the 8th, and then change to the 10th...what's going on

Is not having a seat deposit fee show up for sure either a wait list or rejection?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
