Re: Fordham Law c/o 2019
Hey guys, I'm new to this thread and I just wanted to know what are my chances are of being accepted in Fordham's Evening Division? My scores are below their median 3.3 GPA 152 LSAT. I graduated early from college, I am first generation college and graduate school, single parent household, AA female, I interned at a law firm for 2 years, and I participated in a lot of extracurriculars. Will my softs do anything for my chances? My application is at "Complete" and I am just impatiently waiting tbh as Fordham is the only law school I want to go to lol. Honest answers please, I am good with constructive criticism.

Just accepted via automated email, will most likely withdraw, complete 1/15 with a date change 3/16 and 3/22.

Re: Fordham Law c/o 2019
So there are two people on MyLSN with roughly your stats/who have URM status, and both were waitlisted to the part-time program. Being URM is a large boost, and being a first generation college/graduate student is probably something of a boost too. Otherwise, interning at a law firm and college extracurriculars aren't going to make much of a difference; lots of applicants will have the same things on their resumes. Tbh, even if you end up getting into Fordham (which it's a toss-up), it's going to be enormously expensive (crazy high tuition + NYC COL) and really not worth it given the employment stats. If you go to the What are my chances thread with the same question everyone is gonna tell you to sit out and re-take for better options, which is probably the way to go hereLawSchoolGirl214 wrote:Hey guys, I'm new to this thread and I just wanted to know what are my chances are of being accepted in Fordham's Evening Division? I'm in the same boat. I think Fordham just takes a long time to get back to applicants. I doubt it's any kind of yield protect. If it progress like everyone else we should hear back in the next 10 days or so!greenapples wrote:I had my status check changed to 3/29 but still havent heard back since submitting in January.
