You think it's worth it to go back and reread? I saw the end of everything, I think.
Yes! But only because I'm so proud of the sonnet
Maybe you just gotta re-write the sonnet.

Also, Ugg, I think barls just means the guide (in the first post, linked) is worth reading... not that shitshow.
Oops yeah, don't waste your time reading the thread. Doesn't paint anyone in their best light

What I love about my university is that all of our pre-law faculty are some pretty damn impressive women (I don't think there's a single male faculty member that's part of the program) , and the vast majority of our pre-law folks are mostly super hardworking gals too.

Really?? Most heels suck, but a lot of other shoes (flats, etc.) can be really comfy.
WEDGES.
SNAPS FOR WEDGES

Day late here to sing the praises of a new pair of Toms booties I got. That shit is mad comfortable.

I'm really curious about people on this thread's opinion on Hillary Clinton as dem nominee and in the general.

I am generally the most pro-Hillary person in a room, for policy reasons in addition to her bad ass lady queen status. She has a really good grasp of racial and socioeconomic inequality and doesn't seem to conflate the two as often as other politicians, big on expanding access to health care, gets an A on social issues (pro choice, gay marriage) and its so obvious whenever she speak that she knows soooo much about politics/the world/everything and is articulate about it all.

Other opinions on Hillary?

She seems like the most ridiculously qualified candidate on either side, but Bernie's stance on the issues matches with my political leanings much more.

I tend to agree, but my concern is that the redistributive policies Bernie advocates are really great in places where the economic and social culture embrace it, but the US just doesn't have the type of mentality to implement and sustain the things he proposes. Also, I worry about scalability in a federalist structure. States have a lot of power. But, at the same time, if you don't challenge the status quo and blame prevailing culture and federalism its easy to accept inaction. His candidacy is starting some really good conversations and maybe hopefully showing people why Democrats are actually much better for the real middle class than Republicans pretend to be.

Also his side eye game is so much weaker than hers. Girl throws shade and I love it.

HRC is my jam. She went to my UG so I'm all about that.

Lol of course you went to Wellesley (I mean that the best way, obvi). I've been on quite a few runs around your beautiful pond, its an amazing campus.

Checking in with the ladies! Coming from a field that is only about 10% women, I learned we ladies really have to stick together.

Checking in! Still working on my personal statement and securing LORs, but now that I have my October score I feel better about all of this. I'm going to retake in December, because I'm not happy with my 167, but that score is high enough for some of the schools I'm applying to so I'm aiming to get those apps in soon.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
