Submitted! It feels SO strange to finally start sending in applications.

I agree entirely although I wouldn't worry about it and I wouldn't have emailed if it were me.Wahrheit wrote:If you're really that worried about it, email. Always email. Yeah I'm not too worried except for the fact that on my status checker, the only box that isn't ticked is the resume one? Not sure if that's related.KMart wrote:I agree entirely although I wouldn't worry about it and I wouldn't have emailed if it were me.Wahrheit wrote:If you're really that worried about it, email. Oh we will have more prospective students? They're in for a treat.Wahrheit wrote:There are lots of rounds of interviews, but you will only be interviewed once.

I wonder why one of them left the class early. Did he just despise the law and econ-ness of torts and say, "fuck it, I'm not applying"?

It's my favorite class this quarter. It's wonderful. On the flip side, if you're not for the law and econ slant, I can see why someone would hate it so much.Wahrheit wrote:I love that class.

Re: Chicago C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Question: UChicago explicitly states on its website that "if you are scheduled for a future exam, you will not be considered complete until the future score is released, unless you email admissions and tell them to review your file with your current score." I am registered to retake in December, but it says that I am complete on the status checker. I applied 2 weeks ago and still haven't gone UR yet, so is it possible that this is the reason? Did they change their policy? Can I be "complete" without being 'officially' complete?

What type of numbers does it take to get a fee waiver? I've got a 177 and a 3.79, which was good enough for waivers at all the other T14s except HYS. Why no love from Chicago?

I think they must look at regional preferences or something on CRS? I've got a higher LSAT and no waiver, but when I emailed them they were quite insistent that the CRS query pulled more variables than just GPA and LSAT. There may of course be other reasons why I didn't get one though (I'm international, although that didn't stop Columbia giving me a waiver), so it could just be an error in your case (you've definitely got the numbers!).mollywood wrote:What type of numbers does it take to get a fee waiver? So should I email them about it or suck it up and pay the fee?scone wrote:I think they must look at regional preferences or something on CRS?
