Have been pretty obsessively checking the older boards, I couldn't find anything about later ED "waves" later year. Most people got in the first day, but it seems like it's definitely how Penn rolls out decisions. There will likely be a few more calls today or tomorrow and maybe some next week for ED, but I think after that it's probably bad news. Two years ago ED people did receive rejections/holds the first day of admissions. RD starts about a week after ED.

Last year calls started going out on Tuesday, the 9th, and more calls went out the next day and two applications reported receiving an email from Penn telling that that their application is being "held." Not everyone gets called on the same day.

Might be today, who knows. Last year, the first calls went on on Tuesday 12/9 and more calls went out sporadically through Friday. I'm kind of afraid Wednesday was it and they're not going to send the emails for another full week to make this as painful as possible.

last year most accepted applicants had 3 UR dates though...am I making this up?
