Finally received my acceptance package in the mail (acceptance email 1/30). It's pretty substantial (magnetic!?) and had a nice little handwritten note.

Oh whelp oops - I did Need Access for most of my schools so I couldn't remember if GW was there. Need Access is what you use for the majority of the schools - OP follow GW's websiteniplomo wrote:I think you got bad info. Does anyone know when GW starts pulling people off of the waitlist?

Has anyone had any success negotiating scholarships with GW yet? I've gotten a much larger offer from Emory but I'm not sure how to approach the office. If you have an e-mail template you'd be willing to share, I'd appreciate it!

There is no timeline. Only one wave of scholarships has gone out so far and people with various dates of acceptance were included in that wave.LawsRUs wrote:also what is the general timeline for getting your scholarship info after your acceptance? tyia

I've seen u on some of the other boards and i'm kind of assuming you might get some nice merit based scholarship money (if you haven't already) if so - you can't even be considered for need based at GW if you have been offered at least $16,000 in merit scholarships. i'm throwing that out there in hopes that itll be somewhat helpful. i dont know the need based process for GW because i got my scholarship email with more than 16,000 so didn't even bother. I'm actually going down to visit GW and GULC next Friday -- if anyone has any questions, I'll ask when I'm down there! And of course share juicy details once I return

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
