I didn't have a status checker for over a month. I eventually got accepted.. I think its just their status checker is faulty. Not any divine sign

Thus far no school has sent me both acceptance + scholly in one. Scholarship usually follows about 3-6 weeks after.bob311 wrote:In via email. Does the packet they mail include scholarship?

See this morning I got into William and Mary and they sent me my scholarship with it. Along with most schools I've gotten into. Just curious when to expect the monies.ku546 wrote:Thus far no school has sent me both acceptance + scholly in one. Scholarship usually follows about 3-6 weeks after.bob311 wrote:In via email. BC has been saying end of January for scholarship emails, so they should start coming out pretty soon.bob311 wrote:See this morning I got into William and Mary and they sent me my scholarship with it. Edit: Also, did anyone get the email taking about the Business Insider rankings? How do people feel about them? #17 isn't bad at all.. but I don't know about the methodology.

Quick question if anyone can remember:
Were the First and Second Deposit lines visible before getting accepted?
My status checker has been really sketchy lately and I just recently noticed that I now have the first and second deposits visible.

1 and 2 deposits have been 0.00 for me as well, I don't think it's an indication of anything

I think there's going to be a lot've waitlist movement this year. If you look at the Georgetown thread, there's applicants with scores as low as 156 getting waitlisted as opposed to outright rejection.jcross01 wrote:Waitlisted via email. Wondering how this will play out ...

^^ thats all I see before reading the whole thing to find out.. its about the RAPPAPORT CENTER.

I registered for an ASW, but does anyone have any more info on it? All I see are the times. Is there an agenda? Can mom come? Maybe there's some 1Ls lurking that will know.

I haven't seen an agenda, your parents can generally come, but I think the general response on these boards is to not bring parents cause there won't be much for them to do and it is frowned upon. That said, I took my grandparents on a visit with me because they paid for the trip so IMO it's honestly up to you.louisv123 wrote:I registered for an ASW, but does anyone have any more info on it? Re: Boston College C/O 2018 Applicants
I don't know what an ASW is... but I took a campus tour yesterday and audited a class. I enjoyed it and our guide was great, as were the people in the admissions department. I also met with a professor who is a family friend. All in all glad I did it. Gorgous campus in a nice location... I grew up down the street and have driven by probably tens of thousands of times, and not once toured the campus.
If everything works out and I end up going it will be wicked convienient to be able to drop the dog off at my parents place on longer days.
