When I did the tour everyone that was still waiting on a decision/waitlisted went business casual. The guys were in slacks and button up shirts mostly. I think one of them may have had on dark jeans.Dulman wrote:What would be proper attire to wear when touring the law school? I figure business casual is the way to go, but, yeah... thanks

For those waiting on $, Dean Schwartz says they expect to begin sending out awards "in the next few weeks."

ETA: Just to clarify, I applied last year (and was granted the same award), so I imagine that's the reason for the faster turnaround. Don't worry if you haven't heard anything, I'm sure there are many more offers coming.

Any decisions lately? It would be nice just to get a short email between the complete and decision emails just to let you know they are working on it.

Waitlisted via email. With admission from Berkeley, of course I'm withdrawing. Good luck to the rest of you.

I submitted on 1/1, same as Berkeley. Went complete 1/8 or so. Ironically, it was my safety school in case Berkeley and other T14s didn't work out. YP'd? Both stats well above median, URM who did TFA. Mexican-American, though. What is the percentage of MAs in UCLA, and do they get dinged like Berkeley does for certain races (sorry, but my friend had a 178 and she got YHS, but was dinged by Berkeley)?

Waitlisted via email. Above both medians (168 3.89) and actually my first choice. I even emailed them to let them know that a few weeks ago. I don't get it.

Has anyone with a non reportable or non traditional GPA heard back yet? UCLA is my top choice and I think I have a shot but I went complete in early December and have heard nothing from them. Not sure I can handle waiting much longer.

Re: UCLA School of Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Nothing here either on the scholarship front.
UCLA's scholarship offer is probably the most important for me, of my schools. I'm still waiting on Berkeley and Stanford, but they probably wouldn't give me much money even if I got in. But as someone who lives and wants to remain in California, I'd take a lot of money from UCLA over sticker or a tiny scholarship at most T14 schools.

Is there a travel stipend available for the reception of admitted students? Couldn't find anything online
