Admitted in December but still no word on scholarship info.. Anyone else hear yet? ... Is it worth sending an email???
I wish they had a grid that would tell me my scholarship depending on my LSAT and GPA ranges like the one (hate me for saying the name) Thomas Jefferson LS has done. There will be no guess and no begging.

My application was complete on 1/16 and today it was updated to complete on 3/5.
I'm starting to get a bit worried since a lot of people who applied at similar dates went under review much earlier and already received decisions.
Complete 1/8 and 2/21, still waiting for a decision (or to even go UR). Others reported multiple completes as well when I asked earlier.

Maybe they can just use the exact same grid?

I'd be happy with that grid at BC.

I'm going on a week here of Under Review, and from what I've heard that's not normal... I'm feelin' worried.

It took me two weeks after going Under Review to get an acceptance email

my application was under review for over two months. i applied nov 2., and it changed to "under review" around december 2. i didn't get accepted until the middle of february after a phone interview with one of the deans. i understand that admission cycles for this year are coming to a close, so hopefully, they won't string you along for too long.

Mind sharing when you went complete? I went complete 1/8 with an update 2/21. Judging by LSN, they've started reviewing early Jan submissions.

Has anyone sent a scholly request out to these guys? I almost feel like calling them to ask when merit aid info will be released, we're a little over a month from deposit deadlines lol.

I have. PM me for details.
I will say that I wouldn't advise it at this point.

What are the numbers of the people getting $$ info already? I was accepted in the first batch back in December, but still no word on scholarships. Getting a little frustrating since it's the last school I need before I start negotiating

Are they just low balling us who go admitted or seriously still considering who to give scholarship? Seriously though if they don't send out any scholarship info/offer out before deadline I guess a good portion of us will skip that deposit and abandon BC for good. They can't be thinking people will put down deposit first just to hear back from $$$, like if any..

potterdam wrote:Completely agree. Their email said they'll send scholarship info out "throughout the spring" -- that could mean anything! BC has by far been the slowest school I've heard from this cycle.
When were you admitted?

I don't think our admission dates should be relevant. Notre Dame, for example, dished out all of the schollies pretty much on one day. I think BC should have such a day where evryone at least admitted February or before gets their offers. We are roughly a month out from deposit deadlines, they shouldn't be pushing people to wait much longer regardless of their admittance date. 2 weeks from now is what I consider the red zone in terms of deposits.

I received an email back on Feb 13 from the FA Office (because I was speaking with a Professor and mentioned being worried about FA) saying that they had not yet sent out scholarship information.
"At this time, we have not begun awarding scholarships. Once the process begins, it will remain fluid until the first deposit deadline in April. "
Fluid, huh....

I got my scholarship email on Friday and was admitted back in January--I think they are doing it "fluidly," just in smaller batches than most schools are so the thread isn't as active with the info. Hopefully you all hear soon!

If you don't mind sharing, how much did they offer?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
