agreed. I understand them wanting to send out decisions over snail mail, but seems odd they wouldn't have a status checker that at least updates when you're in review/decision has been made/or if your app was held...especially since it appears they are emailing "ding" decisions out anyway...

Won't lie...I had a nightmare the other night about my decision being lost in the mail... The way I figure, come April 1st I will probably call just to ask what's up with the application. I feel that if you applied before Feb 1st they guarantee a decision by April. I think they'd understand if you hit them up just to be sure it didn't get lost.

From what I hear reading the forums it comes in a bigger envelope with the word "Congratulations" Printed around it. Someone that got accepted can confirm this is right.

Got it Friday, postmarked Wednesday. I only live a mile from Emory Law so its kind of odd that it even took two days.

Btw, did everybody get a handwritten message from the dean with their acceptance letter? Its nothing major, but it was thoughtful, since he mentioned stuff from my personal statement and letters of rec.
