Dang I was hoping to use this as a test run for my other apps so I was holding off on submitting them. My number are way above Duke's 75ths so I am hoping it was just YP

Congrats to rachellen and aldiddy! You guys should update lsn if you haven't already.
sasquatchsam, that doesn't seem to make any sense with your numbers, but hopefully it's YP?
I was about to submit my app with only 1 academic and 1 professional LOR, but I'm going to wait for my last prof to send his in now...can't be too careful

For the folks that were waitlisted, did you guys write a Why Duke Essay?
It's most likely YP. Keep your heads up!

Waitlist here as well...pretty bummed. Yeah, I wrote a Why Duke. I'm not sure about YP in my case, I'm kind of a splitter. Oh well, lots of other apps out there I suppose.

Don't lose hope, if Duke is what you want! The WL is definitely not a graveyard, as I can personally attest. Just hang in there, it's early yet!

Thanks, all
. I haven't made a LSN account but I will soon! Will definitely consider Duke. It's a great way to start the cycle!
For those who got wl'd: there is a longgg cycle ahead! I know you TLSers are gonna kill it.

Yeah I should have probably submitted a "why Duke" essay. I guess I will just have to ride out the waitlist and hope I get some acceptances from some other schools.lastsamurai wrote: sasquatchsam, that doesn't seem to make any sense with your numbers, but hopefully it's YP?

LSN = Law School Numbers. It's a really useful site where people post where they're applying along with their stats. You can look at past cycles and see how people with similar numbers fared.
There's also a site off the back of it at http://mylsn.info/ that predicts your chances based on the information from lsn. Definitely worth a look!

Does anyone know if they have been coming in on weekends? My 10th day is tomorrow, and I'm not sure to expect something today or plan on waiting till tomorrow.
Thanks!

To those accepted, you don't have to submit anything to the school until financial app forms come out on Dec 31, right?

Congrats everyone.
For people that were WLed or accepted, I hate to keep asking this, but can you post approx stats? It's helpful to everyone else that hasn't applied or hasn't heard a decision yet.

Applying PT. Duke requires a letter from your university if you respond to the disciplinary issue (nothing serious for me, just caught drinking in my dorm freshman year), does anyone know if this is necessary to complete the application? Or if they'll review it without it and then just need it later?

Congrats!!! And I believe they wait for the deans letter before reviewing. You can probably go back a few pages and find your answer
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
