You sure? I heard that the more you check your status, the faster the decision comes. I heard the person who checks it the most times gets a full ride.
Definitely heard this as well.

So I just got a big, happy packet from Cornell today that makes reference to my numbers and encourages me to apply. But it says nothing explicit about a fee waiver. Should I be looking for another piece of mail? Does Cornell do hidden waivers? Did anyone else get a packet without a waiver?

Yeah.
Speculating on acceptances is an even worse endeavor than speculating about the release date for lsat scores. It'll come when it comes.

Back to speculating. Got a status date change today. Still at "Application Complete" though. Could we see another round of decisions go out before the weekend?

I wish I wouldn't have checked this thread. I was perfectly happy not expecting any decision for at least a few weeks.

Did anybody get a packet with a fee waiver inside, but missing the instructions on how to redeem said fee waiver?

It's probably already linked to your account so you don't need a code or anything. Just try to submit the application, it's probably already applied.

Who thinks we will get some more decisions on Monday?

If we don't, I'm just gonna say screw it and figure they won't come till late november.

Two questions:

1.) The Oct. 11 people--do you suspect we will hear back tomorrow?

2.) If so, what time?

Grazie molto.

Guys, two questions:

1. Is it worth speculating about a process we don't know anything about? They already went against what they did last year in terms of timing of acceptances, how can we possibly know what they are going to do?

2. Is there any difference between being accepted now and being accepted two months from now?

People deal with stress differently. Is speculation on TLS going to make any difference? No. Does it help distract some people from the torture of waiting? You bet.
