what are most people doing for food?
i know absolutely nothing about cooking, and i'm slightly worried that there won't be enough time to put into both learning to cook and actually cooking. what are my options?

Making pastas and soups are really easy though, so you could always make something at the beginning of the week and it would last multiple days.

Yeah, seriously. WTF are leftovers? You eat six meals a day if you have to, you do NOT leave food lying around.hypothalamus wrote:Not if you're a hungry hippo/hypo likeBronck wrote:Probably eating out most nights.icedflames wrote:what are most people doing for food?

Haha, sadly, that too. I need to learn to be more domestic, though. I'm still looking to marry rich. I am not going to law school to be a freaking breadwinner.

This is the real reason why you take the Hamilton, soj. So you can meet that rare emotionally stable financier who just wants to settle down and shower your with gifts (The "rare" comment was in relation to the emotional stability, not the other two parts of the equation).soj wrote:Haha, sadly, that too. 100-200/month on alcohol? I forget how expensive it can get. I'll be sticking to ginger ale.
I actually enjoy cooking, but I doubt I'll have time for it during the week.

Yeah, no way I'll spend that much on alcohol, lol. Definitely not a huge drinker.blue_c wrote:100-200/month on alcohol? I forget how expensive it can get. I'll be sticking to ginger ale.

Don't get me wrong. I don't regret it, and I can see myself doing the same thing many times in the future.Bronck wrote: Hahaha, yup. Although, it was fun walking/chatting and seeing the neighborhood.

Right on with the finance husband, though. I can't wait to take advantage of those cross-listed business school courses.

I just completed my financial info and sent them my stuff on Monday, but they seemed pretty confident that it wouldn't be more than a week or so. Everything seems to be accelerated as deadlines approach.gloriouscause wrote:

Yeah, I'm not sure what the hold up is. I'm not terribly concerned because I'm definitely going to Columbia, but I don't want to deposit before I'm given an offer.gloriouscause wrote:Elliott_Smith wrote:I've watched that an embarrassing number of times.

Was tired of waiting for Stanford to get back to me.... Just deposited at Columbia. If I get a call from Stanford in the next week, then so be it. I'll just tell myself that I only got in because I deposited to Columbia before hearing back

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
