Thanks man, you too! I wouldn't say I had spectacular softs, just some unique internships and work experience with my local government. I think my letters of rec were pretty good; I had my supervisor and professors tailor them to reflect my experiences and personal statement. I spent a SIGNIFICANT amount of time on my personal statement. I worked on it for over 3 months, a little bit a day until I thought it was perfect. I actually didn't have a "why UC Davis" section, because my PS was already way too long. I couldn't believe it either when I got in, but I am so grateful.

Congrats again man. I'm glad we can both go to our dream school!

Received a letter today from Davis urging me to abide by my intuition and go to Davis Law. Then they spelled my name wrong. My intuition is telling me no..

So I'm still awaiting evaluation...complete 1/20. This is crazy. And I saw on the other thread deposit deadline is April 15?

Will be attending Admitted Students events. I was very impressed by admit package (especially the letter). The flash drive was an amazingly nice touch! It's the Small Things in life...

I am at least "Evaluation in Progress," so I have less to complain about, but 23 days to the deposit deadline is cutting it a little too close for my taste.

I'm just glad I have a number of other good options. At this point it would take some serious $$ to choose UCD over GW, BU, or Fordham...

No. Fordham with $$. GW sent an email out this morning about possible scholarships in the next two weeks, so I'll wait and see what (if anything) they give me.

Yeah I'm in the exact same boat. Does anyone know for sure if Davis gives any money beyond need based aid/when admitted students day is?

Still "Awaiting Evaluation"; applied 1/8, have been complete since 1/30. starting to worry now...is it worth sending in a LOCI to reiterate my interest in Davis? (My choice comes down to Hastings/hopefully Davis vs Duke and I'd like to make that choice soon...)
