emailed admissions office directly and they said I could apply by the 1st...it was funny because their first question was "Have you taken the LSAT?" hahaPolySuyGuy wrote:pbfoot wrote:applied 3/21,
I thought the deadline was the 15th?
Was there any indication a decision was made? Or did you just randomly get a letter? I thought they made most decisions by email...at least that's how my initial hold decision was communicated. Do you mind asking me your stats?ashjones wrote:Denied via snail mail last week. Only denial that really hurt. Went to ASU for undergrad and loved it. Was really hoping I could go their for law school too. Good luck to everyone waiting.
I think they send rejections via snail mail. That's how I received mine last cycle.favrefire4 wrote:Was there any indication a decision was made? Or did you just randomly get a letter? Sorry to hearashjones wrote:There was no indication that a decision was made, I just randomly received a letter. My stats are 153 and 3.7. I know my LSAT is wayyyy low, but I had a very good PS, LOR from ASU professors, and I graduated from ASU in 3 years with a strong upward trend. I went complete 1/6 and my decision came either March 19th or 20th.

Call. The secretary is nice and doesn't mind the calls. Expects them, even. You'll need your LSAC number.tnjohns wrote:Thanks for the feedback. Like everyone I think I'm starting to feel the pain of ASU's slow admissions. I have a 3.73 GPA, with a 4.2 from ASU. My community college time included several traumatic events (I did an addendum for this). My LSAT is a 162. I went complete 2/1 and haven't heard a single word back yet. I was debating on calling the admissions office and asking if they could verify my status but I don't want to seem needy or pushy. My LORs are from an ASU law alumni (who happens to be an ASU professor and state senator), the second was from the NASW executive. I wasn't worried before, but I'm starting to now.
I wouldn't worry too much with your stats.tnjohns wrote:Thanks for the feedback. Like everyone I think I'm starting to feel the pain of ASU's slow admissions. I have a 3.73 GPA, with a 4.2 from ASU. Are you going to ASU? Can I try to talk you into the T14?

This. Although, I haven't heard that I would hear something this week...I will wait as long as it takes to get good news.climbporsche wrote:Wow so I applied ED in early November, got bumped to the regular applicant pool, and STILL haven't heard a decision! I just called and was told I would "probably hear something this week". Are you kidding me?!?
