Also waiting for ATL news lol..adg156 wrote:I'm surprised there hasn't been another e-mail explaining that there was a mistake. Just two "recall" e-mails. Oh geez. Maybe it was some sort of tactical decision to trick people. "see, look, all these people with really great stats applied here; therefore we are a great school, even if most of them don't actually matriculate."

That used to work - if you had AOL. I'm 95% sure that now once it's sent, it's unrecoverable.mtyler19 wrote:I think it'll recall the ones that haven't been read. Agreed. This is terrible.futurejdgirl wrote:I don't know about you guys but I'm afraid some bitter person is going to post the info somewhere on the internet. This is not good. At all.

Maybe they think we'll just ignore it now that they tried.adg156 wrote:That used to work - if you had AOL. Wow! I didn't catch the attachment earlier on the email. That's a huge violation of privacy. It actually does irk me.

Glad I'm not alone. Someone mentioned it in the other thread, and I had almost forgotten about FERPAsandlot wrote:Wow! I didn't catch the attachment earlier on the email. That's a huge violation of privacy. It actually does irk me.

I have seen people who I have met in UG or in passing who I thought would have higher/lower scores.

I'm really surprised they've let it go almost 2 and a half hours without explaining and apologizing for what happened. Maybe they think recalling the email worked?

Has anyone sent an angry email yet? If so, what was the response?

I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been an acknowledgment or apology too. I missed the attachment because the email came through on my phone. It wasn't until I saw the postings here that I went to see what the fuss was about. Serious breach of privacy here!zurcaled11 wrote:I'm really surprised they've let it go almost 2 and a half hours without explaining and apologizing for what happened. The only saving grace as someone earlier mentioned is that no SSN were provided.

I'm definitely upset that I withdrew the other day and therefore missed the excitement!!!
How terrible. And how ignorant.

And this is the prime example of why it is a violation of privacy. There's a reason FERPA exists.Titleist wrote:I have seen people who I have met in UG or in passing who I thought would have higher/lower scores.

Am I the only one you wishes you can rank lsats and GPA is ascending or descending order. Or rank the schools in alphabetical order on that list.
