Is W and L cheaper than FSU at sticker for you now? I don't know if you are a FL resident or not (I haven't read through the entire thread, so sorry if I missed it).

It's way too close for me to be comfortable; plus, I really want to live in VA so it almost seems like a no brainer. But my sister and brother in law both went to FSU undergrad and have been talking it up, and I like FSU a lot (especially after ASD). I'll probably take the full time that I can to decide.

The way I understand it is that all accepted students receive the application for need based scholarship. Merit based is awarded on an individual basis, so you may not receive anything. I haven't seen any merit based info either. Hopefully we will learn more at the ASD on March 23.

Anyone know how long it takes for in-state residents to get the acceptance package in the mail? Was accepted Friday and still no snail mail yet.

Was incredibly excited to get in (bottom 25% in LSAT and GPA) and I'm about 99% sure I'm attending, barred the even smaller chance that I get into UF. I'm not sure if I can make the drive for admitted students day but I'll be up there soon.

Also, I haven't received my snail mail yet (updated Friday) but I've gotten a ton of emails regarding admitted students.

I sent them an email asking why I've been complete so long without any movement. I asked if something was wrong with my application... It's probably a faux pas, but here's what I got in return (names omitted):

Good afternoon
For those applicants whose application goes complete, it typically takes about 3 months for them to get a decision. Your application went complete on January 24th. Please continue to be patient and you should be getting a decision within the next month or so. Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with. Thanks!

same dates as me, as much as I'd love to say 3 months...it's only been 2 months (feb and march) and if we do anything they'll tell us to wait another month -_-

They offered me a travel stipend but I would still need to pay an extra 630 dollars on airfare alone... So I'm going to pass on the ASD.

If you don't mind me asking, what were your numbers? I only ask because I am in the exact same situation, and I would like to see if I have a chance. FSU is my #1 choice.
