aw i'm the only deferred in club 170!? haha on the bright side, no one has posted any rejections so win for us!
question: is it weird to send a diversity statement after getting a deferral? i had written one for all the schools i applied to after i submitted ED... or is LOCI what they expect? is it bad to send both?

I don't think it can hurt, but it probably won't hurt so much since you already made the commitment to pay sticker but that wasn't good enough. Is there anything new you can add to the file other than your love?swl56 wrote:columbia

I really do think that my DS is a valuable addition to my app. I like to think I got into the schools I've been accepted to already because of it!... And I'm kicking myself for not have written it earlier to send when I applied ED to CLS. I figured I would send it in along with a LOCI since a deferral from CLS really gives me almost a 0% chance of ultimately getting in anyway.r6_philly wrote:I don't think it can hurt, but it probably won't hurt so much since you already made the commitment to pay sticker but that wasn't good enough. You are welcome, send the DS in. Did you send fall grades if you have any? If you are working get a professional LOR? I think if you add something substantive when you send an LOCI they will at least take a decent look at you again.swl56 wrote:I really do think that my DS is a valuable addition to my app. I like to think I got into the schools I've been accepted to already because of it!... i already sent in my fall grades about a week ago. i will be sending in my DS with a LOCI after your advice, and now i'm thinking of sending in an additional LOR too! i'm still a student so i'm guessing i should find another professor to write one for me? in my original app, i had sent 3 LOR, 2 from professors and 1 from a boss with whom i worked over the summer.r6_philly wrote:You are welcome, send the DS in. I'd just go with the DS and LOCI. Go secure a new LOR, but save it for in case you get WL. So pick the best professor you have this semester and see if you can get one by the end of semester.swl56 wrote:

Well think about it this way, if they do, then you don't belong hereniederbomb wrote:Really no one averages? That's not what NYU told me on the phone.r6_philly wrote:169.5niederbomb wrote: His/her average is 170?

Seriously, they have to say that, but they may not care as much as you think.

Did you sweepers all apply early? Anything to give hope to a December LSAT taker who submitted in early January?Blindc1rca wrote:Damn son! Do work! Congrats! 90k @ V, correct? VERY nice.r6_philly wrote:Happy to report a MVPB sweep here
