I submitted even earlier and have not heard back yet with numbers above both 75 percentiles. Really frustrating, since I really want to attend there for personal reasons.

Their median LSAT score in 2005 was 156, and in 2007 it was 158. Bar passage rates are a lagging indicator of a school like PSU that's improving itself recently, which is now up to a 161 median. I sound like a troll, but only because bar passage rate is about 4 years old in the world of the admission cycle. For most schools, that's not a big deal. But to a few like PSU that have been throwing money around trying to climb the rankings, it can be a big difference. The people taking the bar last year have far worst GPA/LSAT combos than the people who'll be admitted for the Class of 2014.

There is some movement with my file as of 1/03/2011. I am now under review, from being complete on 11/30/2010, and thus a decision should be made by May, as per the status checker.

I've been "Under Review" since 11/16 (going on eight weeks). Should I take this as a bad sign?

in the same boat. under review as of 11/16. Maybe they willl release them later today, or early next week, since they were off for the holiday break.

Or maybe they're just not going to admit anyone this year. It'ss drive their USNWR rating with 100% or the admitted students attending.

don't forget they would also be rising their medians.
Anyway, do you guys know if they are even back from the break. UR since 11/16

That would be a huge gamble, since all their auto-admits would also be auto-admits at other schools.

I went under review on 1/3/2011 after being complete since 11/30/2010. When did you go complete, and what are your numbers?

I went complete on 11/17 and my numbers suck. They are similar to yours. I don't want to be mean or anything, so sorry heh. I am just a little bitter since I keep screwing up on the LSAT.

Was anyone else surprised when they received a fee wavier from Penn State? I was not expecting one, and though it was quite nice of them.

i got a fee waiver as well, the only reason i applied and looked at the school, got waitlisted at a top 30 school, so now with this wait im getting more nervous with the wait

She just said "thank you for the address update as we will be sending out admitted students information this week."

I thought I remember seeing on LSN that scholarships were sent with the letters but I'm not sure.
