How do you all know you went complete? CU is the only school that never sent me a status checker, much less an email even saying they received my application. Is this an anomaly?

They don't have a status checker, but you should have received an email letting you know you were complete. If you haven't heard anything you may want to contact the admissions office just to make sure everything is okay.salvage wrote:How do you all know you went complete? You poor souls. I hope you all hear back very soon.
Also: you are not an anomaly. I only figured out I went "complete" because I emailed CU and asked for my status. I don't think they would otherwise tell me. And they don't have a status checker (which I think may be better for your sanity).

Re: CU Boulder 2011
To those of you who have been accepted already, have you received an award letter as well? I'm curious of the typical awards that Boulder hands out. Even if you haven't received an acceptance/award letter this year if you know of past situations I'd settle for that.
This is probably a slightly irrational fear, but that NYTimes article about law school got me a little spooked about taking on a ton a debt only to struggle to find employment after graduation. Makes me think twice about choosing quality over price. (So long as it isn't a huge drop in quality)

I don't think they are doing award information until like March.
In state is pretty cheap at CU, relatively speaking. Further, it is one of the few schools where out of state students can gain residency easily after the first year and get in-state tuition their 2nd and 3rd years.
