I was actually just thinking about that- what is an acceptable way to withdraw from a school? Can you just call?

Status date changed from 1/4 to 2/7 just now.
Any accepted people have a double date change before a decision was rendered? If so, how long from the second date change to a decision.
I really like you Tulane, but you are killing me!!

I've been e-mailing withdrawals and it hasn't created any issues.Barbie wrote:I was actually just thinking about that- what is an acceptable way to withdraw from a school? Can you just call?

Also, my new way of comforting/lying to myself:
The longer you spend at "file complete" or "under review," the more time the committee is debating on whether to give you full-ride or full-ride plus stipend. They simply cannot decide between the two.
Sounds good, right?

Re: Tulane 2011
Just submitted an application to Tulane (3.61/167). Does anyone have a feeling on whether I may be too late for scholarships or what kind of scholarship I could expect? I don't know why I didn't think about applying here earlier. My roommate now is from New Orleans and I went for Voodoo last Fall; obviously, I loved it.
Also, off topic but anyone have anecdotal information about employment prospects coming out of Tulane?

Sweet. Pretty sure that's also why my top pick deferred my application--they just aren't sure what to do with scores asect88 wrote:Also, my new way of comforting/lying to myself:

Also, am I the only one going to the April 1-2 ASW? I had RSVP'd for the other one, but then flights were crazy expensive so I had to change.
I'm planning on going that weekend! Question: is it out of line to ask for some reimbursement for my flight?

I don't think it's out of line to ask for reimbursement, they have offered it in the past. Let me know if you're successful, I want some travel money too!

I think I'm withdrawing this week (and freeing up a spot and some scholarship $$) but if anyone's around for the ASW, PM me! I live in New Orleans (Tulane campus area) so I'm nearby!

Please, Tulane! Once I have your answer, I can almost be at the point of making my final decision.

In via email with mention of scholarship info in packet. Thinking of attending the March 18-19 admissions event. It's getting kind of tight trying to plan visits!
