Mind was pretty awkward, too, much more so than my JR1. I kept saying "that's great news" and cut him off a few times haha.

He told me that I should receive scholarship information about a week after I get the acceptance letter. Has anyone received aforementioned scholly info?

If not received within a week, the admissions office recommends the matching program later in the cycle.

How does the matching program work? Anybody willing to shed some light? I checked previous posts but still not sure how this matching program works. For example, which schools will be considered peer schools, based on ranking only, or other factors? Literally, matching means giving the same amount of money to match higher scholarship offers from higher-ranked schools, peer schools, or lower-ranked schools?

Or we can just answer the Financial aid office directly about those questions, or just in a black box?

Btw, admitted students with GPA 3.6+ and LSAT 168+ are automatically considered for scholarship from what I heard from Finanical aid office.

Sucks to hear, but at least it's a deferral.

Has anyone who applied in the RD pool (let's say around 11/4) received a status checker yet?

Anyone ever heard of someone appealing their decision (rejection about a week ago) and being successful?

Yikes... I'm sure I'll be held, too, then. I'm 3.72 (3.76 degree)/167 OOS.

That's very sad news. :-(

Don't be so sure. I have similar numbers and I was admitted last week. Also out of state

What's considered "lots of dough?". It hasnt been a week since my package arrived, so i haven't received any scholarship info. But I also doubt I'll get any, since dean ingram didn't mention it in the phone call. Just curious as to what they have given in the past to people with my numbers.

I applied Oct 29 for non-binding Early Decision and have gotten a status checker but no decision. Is anyone else who applied around that time still waiting?

3.84 GPA/165 LSAT

I'm retaking but I didn't tell them to hold my file or anything since I'd rather they make a decision now so I don't have to wait till January
I applied the same day and have also gotten the status checker but no decision. Still waiting!!

Do any of y'all who have been admitted have multiple LSAT scores? I took the June test and the October test and have a 7 point difference in my scores. I wonder if that is a factor to why my application got held?
