And when did you guys apply? I submitted my application 1/12/2011, have a 165 and two superior foreign transcripts and still have not heard from cardozo, which makes me nervous....

Just to clarify ... if you definitely want NYC market, I would go to Cardozo and be at the top of your class. There are plenty of biglaw jobs to be had there. If you aren't set on NY, then I think I would pay sticker to go to BU/BC where a much higher percent of students are getting top jobs. Also, it kind of depends of debt aversive you are.

Just out of curiosity, for those that have received some sort of scholarship, besides telling us your reward amount, can you tell us your numbers so we have some sort of gauge their requirements.

167/3.7 - full ride. good chance i am going - hard to turn that money down.
also i heard nothing about scholarship info on the phone, so just because they don't mention it doesn't mean you get nothing.

I received the voicemail yesterday and I am definitely asking for travel subsidy for the Sneak Peak on the 21st. I got accepted with 3.65/155 and a strong résumé, any of you have similar numbers and was able to get scholarship?

3.3 156 Urm and super strong resume and softs. 84k for 3 years

3.2 166 and was held. Color me confused.

3.4/167 and held

That would be quite swell. I was actually just wondering if still being IR for over a month is a bad/good/whatever sign?

Eh, I guess I'm the exception. 3.43/164 and judging from here and LSN, I was in the first batch of acceptances (in 1/4).

Nah. 165, 3.3 here, 20,000 per year. Not exactly a high GPA.

Man... I'm perplexed. I could see if you had great softs you getting in over my 166 3.2, I guess my confusion comes in when you get a sizable scholarship and I simply get held.

I apologize for the wording of my statement by the way, I didn't want to make it seem like you would NEED great softs to get in over me. You getting in over me is not odd at all, I'm simply confused as to what makes their adcomms give you 20k and me a hold.
