I got the call at about 1:30 today, in the middle of lunch with a professor at NYU accepted students day. Glad the wait is finally over. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason that they send out decisions other than acceptances on the Mondays following Friday phone calls? Do acceptances without phone calls trickle in for a while or are Fridays it? It seems to me that not receiving notification on Friday means bad news. So why not just send all decisions together rather than have people hang in pessimistic limbo over a weekend?

There were 55 accepts on 2-5 and only 7 on 3-5?
I know its only been a few hours, but this seems like very few offers...
If LSN represents 10% of most top schools, does that mean on 2-5 they offered 550 actualy seats or something like that??? If so wow....
