I was updated the day after my interview, and then never again... It's now been over a month. Do you think it would be appropriate to call if I don't get any updates this week?

My status didn't update until a few weeks after my interview... granted, I interviewed right before the holidays.

EDIT: My bad, didn't read properly. I would say give it at least another week. If it updated after your interview, chances are they heard from them.

I was similar to your situation. Received a defer-final-decision email after more than two weeks' no news/update...Applied ED though.

In via snailmail, originally was on the "special group within the preferred waitlist." I was surprised, because I didn't pursue it especially hard. Very reassuring to have that admit though.

Gladly, but considering that I'm not in either, I don't know how much sway I'll have
Got WLed...could really use that rec right about now.

Got waitlisted last friday. I'm a little surprised because I thought I would be outright rejected. Anyone have an idea how many people get off the waitlist each year, as opposed to the preferred waitlist?

According to quite a few people's experience, that normally means you will have a good luck when you check ASW later this evening...Congrats!

Also just updated, complete dates so far: 12/13, 2/9, 2/13. Address "expanded" on 2/9 which I thought was an indication that I would be getting good news in the mail but still can't log in to ASW. I guess I'm not out of the woods yet?
