Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
I was just placed on "reserve"
Was deferred on 12/14, no change in my status checker, and had the decision emailed to me today! I'm definitely riding this one out...
Btw, other than a LOCI and an additional recommendations (which I did after my deferment) what else can I do to increase my chances?

waited 6 months for a reserve decision. Apparantly everyone gets reviewed again but it doesnt seem too promising.

Ohhhhh cornell....
After waiting so long, I decided to just email cornell and withdraw my app that had been in review forever like everyone else
A few hours later I received an acceptance email

I wish I could claim one of those was true. No interview requested. Only took LSAT once. No Criminal record. Is this a potential case of YP?FiveSermon wrote:did you not interview if they requested one or something? thoe numbers should make you a lock.... felony? multiple lsat?

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
what are you talking about. 169 4.0 is above both 75th for cornell. it should have been a lock. only other applicant ive seen with similar numbers get reserved was r6 and cornell hates him for some reason.
loook at lsn. almost everyone above boh 75th got in

At least 1 person who went UR 4/06 got a decision today. It seems a tiny bit odd that some of us should get UR 4/07 while others got UR 4/06.msridiculous447 wrote:under review 4/7 (uhh??)
Wonder if those of us UR 4/07 will hear back tomorrow?

did you look at the link you just posted? It doesn't show anyone with 169+, 4.0+ not being accepted

There's a smattering of scores in that range being waitlisted. It's certainly not a yield-protect, is my point.

It's not a "smattering". There are a few but do you see many? No. It's almost all greens.SisyphusHappy wrote:There's a smattering of scores in that range being waitlisted. It's certainly not a yield-protect, is my point.
