Had my visit and talked briefly with admissions/financial aid. Scholarship/aid packages for most people won't go out until after the March 15th deadline but the turn-over after that date is supposed to be pretty quick.

Does anyone know if it's a good thing to update two days in a row before the weekend?

I'm nervous.

Still stuck on complete since 12/09. Haven't heard a single thing. Why are some people getting interviews and others not?

March 15th deadline? Is my mind slipping on something obvious?

I believe it's the deadline to submit FAFSA/Cornell's financial form and stuff. I also believe you get a break on submitting that stuff if you haven't been accepted yet.

Uhhhh.....

.....INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an interview March 2, and was told I'd get my decision within the week. Well, Friday the 9th came and went and I didn't hear anything, although my status was updated the Monday after (the 5th).

Well, I called today to make sure I wasn't missing anything and to answer any lingering questions the admissions officers might have. A very nice young lady picked up the phone, I explained my situation, and she asked me to hold. About 4 minutes later, she comes back on the line and goes, "You've been admitted. Congratulations." I was stunned. She also told me they are going to be sending out more acceptances today and tomorrow. Keep it mind that this doesn't necessarily mean acceptances won't go out on other days. Best of luck everyone!!!!!!

(Please don't bombard them with calls...I had special circumstances.)

Thank you, sir. I'm still in shock, but I teach 2nd grade and so I have to keep it together for the little ones.

I think/hope so too! After the update on Friday I was really hoping it'd be today.

Well, here's to hoping for good news tomorrow!
