WL via email on Friday (164/3.9)
I haven't had to write a LOCI yet, so forgive me for this question... the WL email says that I should reply with whether or not I want to remain on the list. CouldTHIS email response count as my LOCI? Or should I send a simple "yes, keep me on the list" and send a separate LOCI to the admissions office?

Send a brief email and do your LOCI separately.

What are thoughts on sending in a transcript update with fall grades at this late stage of the process?
My overall GPA bump from last semester's grades is about .01, and I'd been holding off on sending in the info. because I wasn't sure that was a significant enough bump... but now, I've become anxious.
My fear is that the transcript update wouldn't get to Penn in time (does this have to go through LSAC?) or would just seem strange at this point.

3rd ur today as well. I sent an addendum on Monday so maybe that's the reason for that update.

I know nothing about the Penn application process. That said, I would use LSAC and they seem to very quickly with transcripts/LORs. It probably depends on what your overall GPA is. If you were already a 3.8 and straight A's only raised your GPA .01, it would still look good to send it. If you are a 3.3 and you got 3 B's and and 2 A's and it raised your GPA .01, I would tread more carefully.
