Hey! A 1/11 got accepted earlier in this thread. Granted, that person applied in Oct and was a special case, but...

I'm starting to think they're just messing with you, Veritas. I think Dean Tom and his crew have a weekly meeting where they compile all of your desperate messages for the week, laugh for a while, then get back to business. They'd probably have let you in already if they didn't enjoy those meetings so much.Veritas wrote:zOMG BERK LET ME KNOW PLZ

Do you believe that is it safe to assume that those who went UR in December won't be hearing back anytime soon (regarding FR or decisions)?

I too am UR 12/7.
FWIW, when I applied in the 2008 cycle, I went complete/UR around 1/13, got FR 2/13, and was accepted 3/19. so it seems that yes, it could still be a while.

Another UR 11/2 with no FR email. I'm going to go with the earlier post that stated something about them losing this bunch of apps. Seems like way too many people in the same exact boat.aetennis17 wrote:UR 10/22 and no FR email...

Wouldn't it be awesome if one of the super nice, previously admitted students that was maybe planning to withdrawal anyways would call up the admissions office and be like "yo, what's up with your review of all the UR early Novemeber/late October applicants?" I mean, if they're already admitted or even planning to withdrawal, how could it hurt them?

It couldn't hurt them, but they also wouldn't get an answer that would satisfy anyone on TLS.FreshPrince wrote:Another UR 11/2 with no FR email. I don't think Dean Hoye will mind too much. I mean, I'm quite possibly the only person on TLS who likes Duke more than NYU and UVa.Oli wrote:aaaaaaand link sent to Dukeboilercat wrote:

Thanks Tangerine. That full Darrow is ridiculous! It does take a lot of pressure off and now I can go back to waiting impatiently for Berk to ding me.

I'm UR 11/2, and while I don't think I'm an auto-reject, I don't think I'm particularly strong for Berk, either. But I'd drop everything and go if I somehow happened to be admitted.

So we are probably in the reject pile, then?

Think there'll be any movement today? And yesterday's FR decisions didn't necessarily seem like a WAVE to me...not that many people reported getting them...so hopefully more will go out soon?
