My mistake on Martin. That was what I was told by the SBA mentors, since they had no experience with him.

Re: SMU 2010!
Hate to break your heart but no Martin bible exists. Martin doesn't let students see their exams or provide a model answer. Nobody knows exactly what scores a point on his test. In fact, some tutors gave advice last semester on what to do on the exam and in the review session Martin then came out and explicitly said not to do that. The irony being that the tutors were selected by the ASAP program specifically because they did well in Martin's class.wellington wrote:Want to hook us up with his bible?iahurricane wrote:No he's not. I did well in Torts but I don't have the slightest clue as to what it was that earned my grades.

The schedule lists dinner tonight in the "Law Quad." Does that mean it will be outside?

There's a dinner tonight? I thought it was over at 3:30.

It's on the evening schedule, so maybe it's only for the PT guys.kalvano wrote:There's a dinner tonight? I thought it was over at 3:30.

Correct - just for PT students. And yes, dinner on the Quad means eating outside. In the heat. And humidity.DavidB wrote:It's on the evening schedule, so maybe it's only for the PT guys.kalvano wrote:There's a dinner tonight? I thought it was over at 3:30.
Unless you have cool mentors who will take you inside.

Unfortunately, I have to attend a birthday party.
I only met one person from this thread, which is kinda of sad yet also kind of a relief.
I also met one person who lurks but doesn't post.

I don't have any male mentors, so unless my assumptions are seriously off-base, I don't think I am in your group.

Also, how fancy should this summer diagnostic be? Mine is only about a page and a half. I can make it longer, but I've pretty much said everything I want to say.

Next week. Tomorrow is more of the same thing from Wednesday.

I thought they gave a page recommendation. If not, a page and a half sounds just fine. It's not worth anything, anyway, you just have to turn something in that doesn't look like it was written by an illiterate person.kalvano wrote:Also, how fancy should this summer diagnostic be? Re: SMU 2010!
Crespi seems very cool. I spotted Thirteen in my class, finally, and I met UTL the other day.
I wish they had let the sections get together a little more during orientation, instead of it being broken up by LW sections.
I'm on the lookout for Betasteve. No idea what he looks, but he was a mentor, so that narrows it down.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
