+1 My heart skipped a little beat when I saw "Class of 2013" in my inbox. I wish they would pick a less hopeful email addess.

Nah, they just haven't had a batch since 2/5 and that was probably too fast of a turnaround to include you. I was defending Chicago earlier, but even I'm a little surprised at how long their taking. I figured they'd be done with most of December by early March, and that looks highly unlikely.

Looks like I'm in for a long wait. Some of these schools are having ridiculous turnaround times this cycle.

I applied 1/5 or something and went complete 2/18.

I didn't know enough about the process to expect this. My parents/boyfriend don't seem to believe me when I say that there is not a snowball's chance in hell that they let me in. I don't feel like having that discussion through the end of May or June.

I could just say I got rejected via e-mail I guess. They'd never know...

seriously taking forever. how does chicago expect anyone who applied later to go to their school if we're all waiting into late april for decisions? i submitted 12/15 but didn't go complete until 1/26. at this rate, i'm ready to give up completely...partly b/c of timing constraints. i agree w/ a previous poster, this is really not strategic for them even if it is more objectively 'fair' than NYU or Columbia.

I'm with you Ivorynightfall. I'm not even complete yet, so it's hard for me to imagine hearing back before May.
