These cat tars seem to be broke. The process has frozen since we switched.

Interview is tomorrow as well. If anyone cares to PM me with a few tips, it'd be greatly appreciated.

General JS1 Tips:
R-E-L-A-X.
Know your story, why do you want to come to law school, etc. At the end of the day, you want to tell the interviewer a coherent story about who you are and what motivates you to come to law school. You want to elaborate on your initial response with some examples, but don't start monologuing.
It's also possible that the conversation will be sidetracked by random topics (weather, sports, etc.). Again RELAX. Just have a conversation with the interviewer.

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
to the JS1s coming up, breathe and just be yourself. clearly you've gotten this far, all that's left to do is convince the committee that you would be a great addition to the class of 2019. the best way to do that is to just show them who you are and why you want to be a harvard law student. you're going to be great. for everyone else, still taking bets for when the next wave of JS2s, WLs, and dings will come. no answer is too far off base. someone help me channel my obsession with hearing back into something productive... which is obviously a competition where the winner gets cat (and/or dog and/or penguin) memes/gifs.

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
My interviewer (JS) never asked me "Why Harvard" in the beginning, which made me worry. So instead, I had to find ways to fit it multiple times into answers for other questions. In the end, she said that I had "clearly done my homework about Harvard." What I'm trying to say is, don't wait for them to ask you the important questions that you think are coming, because they might not be. Take initiative and use whatever opportunities you get to tell your interviewer the key points of your narrative.gamerish wrote:Interview is tomorrow as well. Best of luck!
