First post. Just went D/F 5/5 after over 6 months of waiting. 3.35 and 169 w/ Ivy UG. I'm guessing we're not going to make it - too bad. USC was a top choice of mine. Looks like it's GW now.
good chance you get waitlisted. do a LOCI campaign. your LSAT can get you in off the waitlist.

You get an email if your WLed.... it's just a flat out admit/deny decision at this point. I've already LOCIed and sent in an updated LOR since it's been so long. We will see.

went df 5/3 and i have a package at mail services...but of course they sent me the email telling me it was there exactly 1 min before they closed...fingers crossed

The decision letters come in letter-sized envelopes, so that could probably fit in a mailbox. Anyhow, good luck!

yes, is that surprising? I was expecting a WL the whole time cause of my splitter numbers....it just makes me mad cause 2-3 years ago I would've gotten in with $$ probably

Just so you know, from what I've read on this thread acceptances and rejection letters from USC both come in regular sized envelopes

This is true. The larger packet comes a week or so later if you are admitted.

This is true. The larger packet comes a week or so later if you are admitted.

I live abroad so I'll have my fingers crossed for the next two weekss..haha I'll keep u posted

Rejected 5/3. I liked the part of their letter where they encouraged me to apply as a transfer for Fall of 2012. Given their track record I'd probably graduate before they gave me a decision.

I submitted my app on December 28th, 2010---> status went complete on Jan. 6th---> UR on 4/18---> DF on 5/13

At this point, is it realistic to assume rejection? I am trying to avoid being the debby downer but I just think it's ridiculous that it takes 4.5 months to render a decision about my application.
