Has anyone else found out that they were admitted (can log into the admitted student website, got an email from student ambassadors intended for admitted students) but haven't received anything official? I've "known" for about a week, but I haven't heard anything at all from admissions.

I just got my waitlist email. Kinda confused. I realize my numbers are on the lower end but as a URM and one that was already accepted to Cornell EA, I definitely wasn't expecting a waitlist this early - especially seeing others accepted with lower numbers. No interview request. 3.25 GPA and 167

That's just how it is. I was flat out rejected at Cornell EA, but accepted at Georgetown and NU.

no one has been able to actually log in to the admitted students site with the info, right? I definitely haven't.

You will be able to log in at the end of the week, about when you receive your snail mail acceptance letter. Congrats! Besides, there isn't much on the website B)

That's tough. I'm URM too and I think you can chalk it up to URM cycles being unpredictable. Cornell is fantastic though, I hope you have a lot more choices

+1. I have similar numbers to ArchRoark and got deferred Cornell EA. URM cycles are hard to predict and while it is pretty easy to say that you will get some of the lower T14, it isn't necessarily easy to pinpoint which ones.

Regular waitlist. Thanks, soon-to-be alma mater. I'd have picked Michigan and maybe Cornell over you anyway.

BTW, I got the waitlist email a couple hours I sent an email asking to withdraw my app. You could've just not sent me the waitlist email at all, and saved Georgetown undergrad from losing some alumni contributions (I'll see how bitter I feel in a couple months: probably not very bitter, but still).

I had read people were uncertain what being asked for an interview implied about their application (i.e. low gpa, high lsat / vice versa), so thought this might be reassuring.

They want you find out about snail mail. I have been admitted for over a month and my status checker still only shows my last complete date.

Successfully requested on a Monday, was able to log in and received my letter that Friday/Saturday.
