Ok throwing in the hat for JS2's today.
Will they ever come?

Tell me about the JS1 interview. Are there behavioral questions? (E.g., "tell me about a time when you faced adversity while working on a team and had to persuade a coworker of a new point of view...")

I went complete 1/20, between 51st-75th GPA, a hair below median LSAT, yet no JS1. The spreadsheet indicates a number of people who went complete around the same time and have the same or slightly worse stats than me who have already received/completed their JS1. Should I be worried at this point?

Thanks for the response. There didn't appear to be many JS1s in late-Feb/March last cycle. I guess I will give it a few more weeks before I give up on HLS.

FWIW, went through last year's thread to get an idea for where they were in the cycle at this point. Here's the info (copied directly from a post in the thread)rfc180 wrote:theconsigliere wrote:Norfc180 wrote:I went complete 1/20, between 51st-75th GPA, a hair below median LSAT, yet no JS1. Keep in mind, though, that our cycle hasn't exactly paralleled the dates from last cycle

I wonder what the most common reason for those with JS1s getting rejected is. Desperately trying to prepare as much as possible for my JS1 next week but I am a champion of pessimism, I need some of that chrome spray shit from Mad Max

Given that I have not had a JS1 yet, this does not appear to bode well for me. I have a feeling I am destined for that 3/3 rejection wave

They're also several weeks behind this schedule. I would expect one more JS1 wave. I'm not counting on it, but it seems likely given evidence ITT.rfc180 wrote:Wow, thanks!lawsk3wl wrote:FWIW, went through last year's thread to get an idea for where they were in the cycle at this point. Sigh. I'm still sitting at "application received" from 1/4. I've called, and they claim that everything's fine, they're just super back-logged.

Yikes. Mine was recieved 1/28 and complete 2/10. Probably because they just printed it straight into the trash.eugepaeee wrote:Sigh. I'm still sitting at "application received" from 1/4. I've called, and they claim that everything's fine, they're just super back-logged.

Enough days have passed since my JS1 that I've thought of marvelously articulate answers to the questions, and also developed a winning demeanor with which to deliver those answers. Feeling pretty proud of myself.

So I went complete on Feb 10th (submitted before the deadline) with >75th percentile GPA and LSAT, and I haven't gotten a JS1 yet. Should I start worrying?

Is anyone else like semi-alarmed at the guy who said he's been at application received since 1/4? That seems so strange to me that applicants have submitted, gone complete, and received JS1s while his application hasn't even been marked complete.
It makes me think there is little about the timing of this cycle that will be similar to past cycles other than that Harvard will try to have most of its class admitted by early April.
