STILL UR 10/29... hopeless??

I regret EDing, as I have still heard nothing. UR 12/21 limbo is terrible. The palindrome is a good sign, no?

ED palindrome is DE, or Deferral. It's a sign.

Applied RD in mid-November and the status checker says decision sent as of 12/23. I'd check my mail, but I'm several snow-blanketed states away. Anyone get results from that day?

Just got deferred. Am I SOL, or is there history of ED deferrals getting in? I know that it's basically a soft rejection at CLS.

Since we have the same status and date, I'm thinking I'll probably find a deferral in my mail today or tomorrow (I'll be at work for a while). If they let us in after deferring us we will have won the cycle lottery.

I guess so. Maybe in that scenario I'd ask for a one-year deferral just to flaunt my newfound freedom from the ED chains.

I asked this question already, but all these folks started bragging about purple envelopes (I'm just jealous). Does NYU often let people in after deferring them?
