For those in DC... it is really dark outside (wtf it's only 3:30 pm right now?) and the thunder-snow-storm is coming. Gonna be an epic quest to get home to check for VCE.

Interesting query... I got my NYU letter ridiculously quick- a day earlier than some of the people in Los Angeles even. So I have a feeling it might be some sort of arbitrary way of getting on the right truck at the right time of day before some random person's cigarette break.

Therefore, no emotional closure until Friday at the earliest.

Ugh- no one around me has gotten mail yet and I'm worried that now with all this freezing rain/snow the mail man will turn around and not continue to deliver mail

For those of you who were playing around with the USPS website to estimate shipping and delivery dates, what did you set as the ship date? We should have set it to 1/24/2011, but the USPS website won't let you set it to a date earlier than the present day. That means yesterday, when we were first made aware of the VCEs' existence, we could not set it to earlier than 1/25/11. So...for people who were getting Thursday delivery dates based on 1/25, couldn't that potentially mean Wednesday delivery dates from 1/24?

I just put in yesterday's date and it gave me Thursday, so I assumed that a Monday date would have given Wednesday.
