Did all other wait list candidates get an email from UF today to confirm continued interest?

I posted this in the FSU forum but it def. applies in here too. I called the UF office to try to get some info out of the about the waitlist. She said they offered about 500 waitlist spots, and historically about half decide to stay on. Last year about 90 kids were accepted off the waitlist. I was pleasantly surprised by this info.

That is a BOAT load!! Some of you are seriously going to be our future classmates

We got an email today that our final confirmation is in June. I'm assuming this is when they will let waitlisters know...

Believe it or not, they take people off of the wait list all the way until ILSP. One of my friends got in the day before ILSP started.

If this is an open invite to the c/o 2014 I would definately be interested in meeting future classmates, since I just moved to Gainesville from out of state. Where's Salty? I pretty know where nothing is except the law school and a few places downtown.

Near corner of NW 17th St. and University Ave. Salty is a great bar. Also look into Mother's near University and 11th.

Where are you guys looking at living in the Fall? It seems like everybody is getting places within walking distance of Levin but I was looking more in the 34th/Archer area.

Yeah, it's hard to beat in Gville. Downtown can be very clubby, midtown can be very fratty (no offense to anyone) but Mother's, conveniently located halfway between, has a great crowd. I hope to run into guys there in my last few months in town. Go gators!
