I was hoping this would be the week that I would fiiinnaaally get a post-1/22 update from Cornell, but now I'm just hoping that I don't hear anything from them until next Monday.

If you're admitted already you might want to post things of that sort here http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=173769ktsai4 wrote:Is anyone visiting on the second week of April for the second ASW? Either way though, I'm flying from So Cal too. I'm flying directly to Ithaca though and then to NYC to visit the city since I've never been. Check Kayak.com for prices.

I don't have any reason for thinking that I would get movement this week other than past cycle data. I'm hoping to not hear from them until next Monday as Thurs/Friday tend to be ding and waitlist days. Though, they can totally hit me up all day tomorrow.
NO, SERIOUSLY, CORNELL, GOOD UPDATE TOMORROW, PLEAAAASE

Re: Cornell c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on TLS Forum, though I've been stalking it for months.
I applied to Cornell in mid-November (not EA...stupid me) and I've been stuck at "Complete" since 12/09. It seems like several others are in a similar position.
My numbers are 170/3.31 which is really border-line....I know Cornell doesn't like low GPAs!!! BUT I WANNA GO TO CORNELL SOOOOOO BADDDD =(!
Does anyone here think it would be wise to write a letter of continued interest at this point, or would that just annoy the admissions office/make me look desperate???

I'm starting to think that's it. Would love to update before I celebrate 3 months at complete. Probably looking at a retake...moxy wrote:1/22 here. Maybe they don't like 167's?jerichosm wrote:submitted 12/17 complete 1/14.....and not a peep since

Identical dates, and it's not encouraging. I sent what amounted to a hey-what-about-me-don't-forget-about-me-I-exist! email, and just got back a form letter about they have many applications to go through and the process is slow, and decisions are expected to keep coming through the end of April.

You know it's bad when I look at these dates and I'm like, wow you haven't been complete very long! Why are you complaining? And then I realize that, actually, you guys have been waiting for awhile, and it's just me that has been stuck on complete for an eternity.zylaxice wrote:jerichosm wrote:submitted 12/17 complete 1/14.....and not a peep since

so I'm 1/31.. I got drunk/annoyed and emailed them yesterday. This is what I received...
Dear AVD90,
There is nothing wrong with your file, and because your application was complete before our deadline, we will have a decision for you by mid-April.
Best wishes,
Connie M. Pendergast
