NO, it means something. Something weird and freaky is going on with your file.

QFT. Never heard this happen. Your JR1 must have been really bad, a complete after JR1 could mean that they are no longer interested in that particular file.

I haven't heard anything yet either. I think I will send them an email or just call them or something at COB friday if I don't hear anything by then.

feel very bad now.
There seems to be an amazing consensus of people who have their JR1s and immediately report back that they did terribly. I'm sure you're fine--apparently, JR's interviewing style makes for some awkward conversation and leads lots of people to ramble. And a 5-10 minute JR1 is not out of the norm at all.

I had a less than spectacular JR1 myself, and didn't get a JR2. But for what it's worth, I attribute that more to my numbers and softs package rather than my JR1.

is 172/3.83/strong softs completely out of the question? i've been told that it's an autoreject because of the 172, but i have seen a few non-urms with similar numbers get jr1s or even accepted

It's definitely not completely out of the question, but not a particularly strong applicant. I'd say it's the 3.83 that's holding him back more though. I think quite a few 172/3.9+ have gotten in.

Sooo, I really don't know what to think about Harvard. I mean, clearly, my numbers are low--like way low for Harvard. But, they've just done nothing. I don't know what to make of that. I've been UR since 12/20. In 10 days, it will be three months, and frankly, I don't anticipate a decision in 10 days. Is it really going to take 3+ months just to reject me?

just come to columbia with me! i've been UR for two months, and i'm basically giving up hope and making other plans. if i get in it will be a nice surprise and will shake things up, but there's no need to dwell on it when we have other great options who definitely want us!

+1. I'm non-URM with a 169, but higher GPA. If anything, it's your GPA that's the problem.

:( gpa is 100% my problem. if you look on LSN, harvard has totally ignored high LSAT splitters so far this cycle, which i assume means they're just waiting longer to paint the whole section red.

This is very true. I just want to know, you know? How long does it take to know that you don't want me? (Knowing that I there is a 99.9% chance that I will be rejected doesn't stop me from compulsively checking my email and hoping for JR1 though.)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
