Don't be embarrassed. I'm in the same boat. I would say softs probably 8-9 though. Exact same numbers and under review date. Interesting...lietx3 wrote:Compared to all those numbers I am embarassed to even post...
164/3.8 I'd say 7 for softs. UR 11/18...
I haven't lost hope yet. Just knowing I still have a chance makes me do this

What does it mean when people who go complete after you receive decisions? Is this the beginning of a bad sign?

No, many people who went complete a few weeks after me received decisions before I did.A Swift wrote:What does it mean when people who go complete after you receive decisions? Is this the beginning of a bad sign?

Re: Berkeley 2010
so it seems clear based on everybody reporting their stats/softs who have not gone to FR yet (but were under review in nov/oct) that we won't all get rejected and that there will be at least one more wave of FR's. Am I right in that this is the logical conclusion?

For those already headed to FR, do you think they will release all the FR decisions at once, or has there historically been a few release dates, or a steady trickle.....how does this work historically?

Person on the phone at Berk claimed that if one is waitlisted or still under review at the time that the Feb LSAT score comes out, it STILL will not be considered. Thoughts on this? I find it somewhat ridiculous that if one retakes the LSAT and gets a 173 when they were previously waitlisted with a 169, they will not have an advantage over other candidates on the WL.

Anyone know what the deal with Berkeley merit aid is? Does it come with acceptance or in the coming months?

I have recently learned that there are multiple batches of FRs. I was told that besides admit/deny/waitlist, my application can be put on "hold" by the faculty to compare with the next batch.tintin wrote:For those already headed to FR, do you think they will release all the FR decisions at once, or has there historically been a few release dates, or a steady trickle.....how does this work historically?
For those of you without a denial but no FR email, do not lose heart yet.

are there any more "administrative review" batches? or is it only FR from here on out?Mroberts3 wrote:I have recently learned that there are multiple batches of FRs. That I'm not sure about. I would imagine that Dean Tom (the admin pile) reviews apps all cycle long and sorts them into admit, reject, and FR piles. They let the admits know on an individual basis and do the reject/FR emails in batches. This is speculation, however. Also, I can't speculate on how many FR batches there will be. All I learned was that my app could be held over until the next FR batch, so there have to be at least 2.englawyer wrote:are there any more "administrative review" batches? or is it only FR from here on out?Mroberts3 wrote:I have recently learned that there are multiple batches of FRs. It's probably their policy to give a bullshit answer like the one they gave you. However, if you do re-take and kill it, I doubt they would completely disregard. My sister got off a few waitlists by doing really well on the June LSAT, however Stanford did stick by their policy. Worst case, you can hold off a year and re-apply.imisscollege wrote:Person on the phone at Berk claimed that if one is waitlisted or still under review at the time that the Feb LSAT score comes out, it STILL will not be considered. Re: Berkeley 2010
Anyone have any guess as to what's up with my Berkeley application?
I got straight dinged at UCLA a few weeks back (was hoping for at least a waitlist) but I'm in the FR pile for Cal...
I'm trying to make sense of it, but I can't shake the feeling that I'm destined for rejection and only being kept around for another cursory glance. I just went DR on 1/21 for GULC, so I guess that will give me a bit more to go on.

Optimistic! Because I had a dream last night that I got rejected and I'm dying for that not to be true.

Re: Berkeley 2010
I'm convinced the real reason we've heard nothing from Berkeley is California's finally broken off and is floating away, and there's a conspiracy to hide the fact. The people on TLS who claim to be there right now are clearly part of said conspiracy.SaraT wrote:How are we feeling today? Optimistic or pessimistic?
So yea, pessimistic to the point of lunacy.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
