Remember the east coast (Mid-Atlantic) got hit by a huuuuge snowstorm (for this area) on Friday/Saturday. My mail did not come on Sat or today, so who knows what is happening. Don't lose hope.

At least you are still bothering...I can't take reinflating my hope bubble only to have it crushed at 3 pm every day by the mailman.

Mail just came. No VCE for me, but I went complete after 1/11 so I wasn't entirely expecting one.

Another day, another empty mailbox. I've been complete since early December so I think it's time to brace for a WL/ding.

Did anyone else get a VCE today, or are we still at a 2-person 'wave'?

I almost wish I had been affected by the snowpocalypse so I could justify my lack of VCE to myself.

Poor DC. I'm looking forward to it because we got basically no snow from the snowpocalypse here, but DC is going to get two big storms right in a row. (The second won't be more than a foot, but it's still more snow than DC usually sees in a winter.)

There are some weather sources saying over 20 inches for DC again tomorrow..

Weather.com still says 1-3 tonight and 6-10 tomorrow (so technically could be over a foot, I guess, but not close to 20). I'll trust them before a local outfit, since the local news tends to exaggerate. I just want my heavy Mass. snow on Wednesday.

The place I saw that said 20 though has been spot on about the last storms where Weather.com was slightly off. Its a weather blog that is from the Geological Survey.

Well, then, I guess DC is in for a wild ride. Over four feet of snow on the ground! Crazy.

The worst thing about snow in urban areas? There is nowhere to put it.

The good news is that the government will grind to a halt, thereby giving us a rest from reading about its inane antics in the news.

Put it in Rock Creek Park.
EDIT: Otherwise, carry it over the Maryland line, dump it on their sidewalks, and watch them struggle with it.
California FTW.

Is it safe to say that URMs who haven't received a VCE yet are still in the running? URMs with submit and complete dates long after mine have been accepted already, but their stats are more "auto-admit" than mine...
I really have nothing better to do at work today than worry about this. It would truly suck if I managed to get into two of CCN and not into the one that I actually prefer.

In Iowa, and I don't think I've seen the ground since November......just an endless sea of white. And it'll be that way for probably another 6 weeks, if we're lucky. I'm looking forward to milder winters.

Well, for what it's worth, I went complete back at the end of nov/beginning of dec and just today got a request for fall grades (which were already in transit from lsac, though they asked for a direct mailing so gotta do that tomorrow). So, it means I'm at least in the running in some capacity, or else why would they bother?
I'm an AA male with very markedly non autoadmit numbers. You can go LSN me if you like...
