You could have simply affirmed your faith in the prophecy of Joseph Smith or adopted a child, instead?Jericwithers wrote:NOOOO had I know that having a significant other would get me Chick-Fil-A then I would have gladly sacrificed my happiness for a sandwich and waffle fries.thickfreakness wrote:I was at that combo dinner, haha. I didn't think a win tonight would intensify my desire to be pulled off the waitlist... but I was wrong. All I want to do is watch benches burn and go back to Durham for law school this Fall.dms87 wrote:National Champs!!!![]()

WL'd Friday for a joint degree program that starts in May. I'd kind of started making plans for an August start elsewhere anyway, but still disappointing. Good luck to anyone still waiting.

I've been "file ready for review" since February. Is this normal?

Seems so, I was "file ready for review" from 2/12 until yesterday when it changed to "Under review".Kilpatrick wrote:I've been "file ready for review" since February. Is this normal?

Re: In at Duke!
any tips for getting off the WL? I'll be sending an updated transcript, LOCI (including information about graduation honors) and am going to try to go down to Durham to meet with someone from admissions... just didn't know if anyone had any other tips for getting off the WL. Duke is my TOP choice

Anyone know how likely it is to get off the "priority reserve" list from previous years?

Re: In at Duke!
Got the WL email today. Will be doing the same thing as you in hopes of maybe getting pulled off the WL sometime before August. Do you think meeting with someone from admissions will really help? I guess visiting would be wise regardless since I've never been.terpette wrote:hahahaJericwithers wrote:Just to pray to the deity of your choice (I recommend Coach K).terpette wrote:any tips for getting off the WL? When I first started browsing this board I thought that 'a ding' was an acceptance, like a bell going 'ding' is a good thing. How naive I was....

You have to mail in the form included in your acceptance packet. Not sure what you do if you are on a waitlist.adameus wrote:Can someone tell me how to withdraw from Duke? Is email acceptable?

Re: In at Duke!
so if I just don't deposit by the deadline does this have the same effect? I think I'm going to try and withdraw by email and see what they say.Jericwithers wrote:You have to mail in the form included in your acceptance packet.
