Re: TLS c/o 2020 Applicants (classify cheesecake)
I wish the moderators on TLS were more active. It is annoying that they haven't pinned the ASD thread or the What to expect thread from this year.

If I subscribe myself to the full ride emails, that's legally binding once I get one right?

Re: TLS c/o 2020 Applicants (classify cheesecake)
I wanted the spreadsheets thread pinned so I "reported" the first post there and just wrote them a message requesting for it to be pinned. they did it within minutes! that might work for the ASD and W2E threads, too.jjcorvino wrote:I wish the moderators on TLS were more active. alternatively, I got the app called "email" which allows you to see which listservs your email is subscribed to and unsubscribe with one click all in one place. It's cool seeing what random subscription lists you're on.

Now I'm just looking through all my old emails and seeing which ones have update your preferences lolbloomsday wrote:THIS IS AMAZINGkatthegreat11 wrote:So has anyone clicked the "Update your preferences" to unsubscribe from Penn State Law emails, and get taken to what appears to be an internal list of their mailing lists? The list names are like "high flyers" and "low flyers" lol... it seems super unprofessional to have this publicly available.
I also kind of want to sign up for random lists lol.

Kinda off-topic, but I wonder if being Cuban will help me out at all with admissions. I know Cuban isn't considered URM but I hope they factor it in a bit.

Re: TLS c/o 2020 Applicants (NEW POLL)
For everyone's general knowledge...
I just searched through the "Negotiating scholarships works!!!" thread (here) and discovered that a user named "manofjustice" posted some really helpful info re: negotiating back in 2013. It's not really that season yet, but in case anyone is curious, go look through it! Gave me confidence that I don't need to worry so much about not hearing about schollys yet.

Please tell me I'm not the only still facing radio silence from most of my apps. With all these new waves the last couple days, I'm really feeling like WL/dings in the T13 are my destiny.

I'm in the same boat. Have a couple T25 acceptances so far, some with big money, but silence from T14 so fargovlife wrote:Please tell me I'm not the only still facing radio silence from most of my apps. The correct answer to the poll is whichever school gives the most generous stipends. Coming from Tallahassee, I'm going to have to drop big $$$ to visit some of these schools if there isn't some type of reimbursement

Got accepted to two T14s, silence everywhere else in the T14 (I didn't apply to YS or Penn). Just trying to stay positive.
