Then I was young and unafraidpedestrian wrote:I dreamed a dream in time gone by

I dreamed adcomms would be forgiving
Retakes were spent and used and wasted
There were no app fees to be paid
No songs unsung, no wine untasted.
Then the emails come at night
With their messages soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
As they turn your dreams to shame.
(Sorry, couldn't resist. Brilliant idea.)

Someone should do one to "On My Own." I might even give it a go later.

Dearest UCLA,
I didn't really feel like paying $54,000 a year to either be shot in a drive by in LA, or slowly die an agonizing death due to asphyxiation via smog over the next three years.
Thanks though, your rejection email made me feel like a real asshole for even applying.

You do realize that UCLA is essentially in Beverly Hills, right? It's also about a block from the Playboy Mansion. It's not USC.WisemanAEKDB wrote:Dearest UCLA,

dont worry, you're more likely to die of sitting in traffic for too long than getting shotWisemanAEKDB wrote:oh, i knowteiswei wrote:You do realize that UCLA is essentially in Beverly Hills, right? It's also about a block from the Playboy Mansion. It's not USC.WisemanAEKDB wrote:Dearest UCLA,

Dear Yale,
I lived in New Haven for four years. Five of my friends got mugged — one by knifepoint, another by gunpoint. You should really leave town. That's all.
Best,

Dear Yale,
Cambridge is better than New Haven anyway. Thank you for helping to make deciding on a law school that much easier.
