3.8 / 169
softs... 6? not much in UG, but currently on my one year of WE doing something that sounds kind of cool.

UR 11/2
3.7, 164
softs = 8
Not trying to be cruel or anything but I think those of you that have UR dates after December 2009 should chill for a couple more weeks. You were barely under review for 3 or 4 weeks when the first round of FR came out.

Looking at the numbers, I have a hard time thinking we're all rejects. I haven't seen phenomenal numbers in this group yet, though, so maybe they're just holding the apps instead of WLing everyone?
ETA: "Phenomenal" by T10 standards. Many of my fellow UG applicants would kill for any of the numbers given so far.

Haven't been UR for a long time, but anyway...
UR 1/11
GPA: 3.78
LSAT: 178/167
Softs: 4 by that scale, I guess, considering I'm still in undergrad. I think they'd be closer to a 6-7 or so on a scale used by adcomms, though. Some relevant WE (in politics) despite being in UG.
Decent PS, maybe would rate 7/10.

Submitted all but Dec LSAT in late October:
3.65 (harsh curve at my ug, top 4% at ug according to LSAC)/171/Softs=9
Current Status: Your file is under review.
Current Status Date: 1/11/2010

Haha this'll be interesting to watch. That's what my status date is, too, and we have almost identical numbers. Except I would say my softs are a 4 and my UG is slightly grade inflated.

UR since Nov 18
171, 3.7
Softs=9 to 10ish
PS was good, I like to think. Wrote about some unusual volunteer work I've done, and how it shaped my decision to go to law school.
non-traditional in terms of age, WE and volunteer work, so that may be causing the wait...

UR since 10/22.
3.84 (dual-degrees), 168.
Softs? 6.5ish?
PS was good. That's all, though.
Graduated May 2009, "working" one hourly and one non-profit (for them and me, unfortunately) job.
We're definitely not auto-anythings...we're in a big, fat maybe pile out of which they will certainly pluck some deserving candidates. I don't think I'm one of them.

I wouldn't be too sure yet. Not to toot my horn (bc I'll probably get rejected too) but I sent in my apps in early Nov. and got the FR email. Numbers are 3.66/167. Softs are probably a 5 (work PT in school, WE after grad in may, pretty good PS)
Anyway, my point is that lot of people who just posted have better numbers and softs than I do. I wouldn't assume rejection yet. Either I'm on the very bottom of the FR pile, or they are going to do another FR later...

UR since 11/9
167/3.78 (3.82)
Softs 10 (6 years public interest work, Masters degree, leadership positions in UG, etc)
There is definitely a trend in all the stats posted - most of us seem like very strong candidates without the highest LSATs. I'm wondering (hoping?) if Dean Tom keeps a pile of "Decent, but I need to look at these a second time a few months from now" apps....

Agreed.
I think we're the cases being waffled on, though I don't know why some went to FR and others didn't. Maybe he just split the 'maybes' in half?

i've been UR since mid October with a 173/3.9X and what are imo solid softs so whatever theories you have, it really could just be that there is no rhyme or reason to the order in which decisions are made.

The fact that
Berkeley is potentially waffling on me is really, really exciting, to be honest.

Compared to all those numbers I am embarassed to even post...
164/3.8 I'd say 7 for softs. UR 11/18...

That's how I feel. I know I'm not the strongest candidate at Berkeley, but getting the FR email makes me think they saw
something they liked. Why else would they keep me around?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
