Re: University of Florida
I got waitlisted but i don't even care about UF anymore. I started studying two months ago for a retake the LSAT about three days after i received my waitlist letter.I happy about my four years of UG here(UF)though.redsox77 wrote:So no wait list movement since the end of last week? Good luck to anyone waiting on any waitlist movement. I will decline any interest if i got such an email. I'm set on my decision to retake, take a year off, and apply next year to other schools.

Anyone who sent an LOCI via email get a response letting you know they have it? I sent mine last week, and haven't heard a peep yet.

Well it would be a help to the rest of us still waiting to get in, if you called UF and told them that!jr1886 wrote:I got waitlisted but i don't even care about UF anymore. I had to call and ask directly if they had received it or not.Dallas4thewin wrote:Anyone who sent an LOCI via email get a response letting you know they have it? I sent mine last week, and haven't heard a peep yet.

I will likely be withdrawing from the waitlist as well within the next week or so. I still have to figure some stuff out, but the chances of me going if I get admitted are pretty slim.

What is the turn around time for Financial aid awards, etc. after being accepted. I paid my seat depo and I still have no access to anything on ISIS and no info whatsoever...

ISIS just needs your GatorLink ID. So, if you already have that, you don't need to register for ISIS.trialjunky wrote:ram jam wrote:What is the turn around time for Financial aid awards, etc. after being accepted. If not, I think this is how you can get access. Go to UF's home page, and on the right side click on myUFL. From there, click log-in and it will ask for your GatorLink ID - click on create one (or something like that). It just needs your UF-ID (which you should have gotten when you applied), date of birth and your last name. Hopefully that helps!!!!

No, but that's usually a good sign. They're feeling you out for yield-related reasons. A couple of people earlier in this thread got this email just before they were taken off, I think.dasa89 wrote:just got an email asking if I want to remain on the waitlist... did anyone else get this?

I did not get my Finaid yet. However, I was told not to expect one until mid-June. I did see that the cost of attendance at UF is obscenely low, much lower than FSU's COA of $17,000. How can one live on $1,000/month? I guess I will find out

Re: University of Florida
My friend received an email on Tuesday night asking her if she wished to remain on waitlist and that to "please be patient." Yesterday she received another email offering her a spot into the school and off the waitlist, having only 48 hours to respond.
I hope they do another batch of acceptances soon. Patience is so hard to keep in the waiting game!!!
