I wonder how many people each year have just withdrawn out of spite for this ridiculously annoying NYU admissions process.

I just did, so you can count me in on this.

So tempted to do the same. I should withdraw from some other places in the meantime.

I'm definitely not waiting around on that waitlist through the summer though. And NYC cost of living + low chance of me getting a high scholly from them makes me constantly wonder why I don't withdraw. Peace of mind would be nice...

Status updated 3/12, I think it's UR2, but I can't be sure. Is there any significance to how many times they've updated your status? I'm not sure how it would matter being UR2 vs. UR3.

Also, what's the consensus on how they inform people of decisions? Is it rejection via e-mail, acceptance via phone then decision letter in the mail?

Also, any sort of pattern for which days they make the acceptance calls? Just curious, I'd like to get the most out of my worrying.

We are in the same situation here. Don't know what NYU's hold up is with us, but I am probably taking the NU money as well. It's a BigLaw factory.
